On October 3rd, 2024, Hai Au Technology Solutions and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with Hanoi Medical University Hospital, successfully organized the scientific workshop “(P)RF treatment Spinal Pain and Joints”
Chronic pain in the cervical and lumbar spine is a common health issue that significantly affects the quality of life of patients. The scientific workshop " (P)RF treatment Spinal Pain and Joints" aimed to share knowledge and experience in applying new technology in treatment. The workshop featured the participation and experience-sharing of Prof. Olav Jacobus Johannes Maria Rohof (Amsterdam, Netherlands) and many medical experts from hospitals across the country.
The workshop received numerous contributions and discussions on topics such as:
1. Working mechanism of PRF, practical implications, anti-inflammatory effects of PRF, oxidative stress
2. Spinal pain cervical thoracic and lumbosacral
3. Central sensitization, sacral (caudal epidural) PRF indications, technique results
4. How to diagnose and make the indication for (P)RF treatment
This event was a significant opportunity for experts to meet, share knowledge, experience, and update advanced treatment methods, opening up opportunities for future cooperation. The workshop also achieved certain successes in conveying useful information and motivating further research in this field. Hai Au Medtech hopes that the outcomes from the workshop will be widely implemented in practice, bringing more benefits to patients suffering from cervical and lumbar spine diseases.
